Gorditas 0 0 0 Gorditas Main course Mexican julio 17, 2017 Prep: 25 mins Cook: 25 mins Ingredients 2 cups cornmeal 1/4 cup white flour 2 tablespoons yeast 1 pinch of salt 2 tablespoons vegetable shortening Oil Warm water Grated cheese Your favorite Mexican stew Directions 1Mix the flour and cornmeal, the yeast and half a tablespoon of salt. 2Add the shortening and water to the mix. Stir it until you get a consistent dough. 3Divide the dough into 12 portions and form circles with them.
