1Put water in a pot over medium heat and wait for it to boil.
2Blend the peppers along with the tomato, garlic and onion. Add some of the boiled water.
3Strain the sauce and pour it over water. Cook for about 10 minutes.
4Add the dried shrimp.
5Peel the potatoes. Cut them into small cubes.
6Peel the carrots and cut them into small cubes.
7Add the potatoes and carrots to the broth.
8Add parsley and epazote branches.
9Season with salt and ground pepper.
10Let it boil for about 5 minutes.
