CHICKEN TINGA

Ingredients

½ chicken breast

1 onion

8 tomatoes

½ cup oil

1 lettuce

Tostadas (toasted tortillas)

Mexican cream to taste

Panela cheese to taste

Directions

1Cook the chicken in water with salt and a few pieces of onion for approximately 25-30 minutes

2Meanwhile, cut the onion and tomatoes into slices then place them in a pan with hot oil

3Leave to simmer over low heat

4Once cooked, let the chicken cool down a bit so you can start shredding it

5Add the shredded chicken to the sauce

6Mix everything together and add some of the remaining chicken broth

7Ready to serve! We prefer to spread some cream over the tostadas and then add the chicken tinga

8Add the lettuce, cheese and some more cream on top if you’d like

9You can also add a few drops of lemon and accompany with a salsa of your choice
