1In a saucepan pour enough rice to fill the bottom
2Brown the rice in oil for 12-15 minutes until it has a golden or orange color
3Blend the tomatoes, onion and garlic together
4Using a strainer, pour the sauce that you just blended on top of the rice and let cook for 2 minutes over high heat with the lid on
5After 2 minutes add the water, cover the pan and leave on low heat for approximately 30-35 minutes or until the rice has absorbed all the liquid
