Mexican Fish Ceviche

Ingredients

3 cups of tilapia fillet cut into squares

1/2 cup milk

1 1/2 cups lemon juice

1/2 cup olive oil

1/2 cup chopped red onion

1/4 cup of serrano chile, deveined and diced

1/2 cup diced tomato

1/2 cup chopped cilantro

1/2 cup chopped cucumber

2 tablespoons dried oregano

Salt and pepper

Directions

2 Hours before:

1Place the fish in a glass bowl, along with the milk and lemon juice. Put it in the refrigerator and let it soak for at least two hours or until overnight.

Steps:

1Remove the fish from the refrigerator and strain. Disregarc the juices.

2In a bowl, mix the fish, olive oil, red onion, serrano pepper and tomato.

3Add salt and pepper to teste. Mix.

4Add cucumber, cilantro and dried oregano.

5Mix.

6Serve over tostadas or crackers with avocado.

7Your Mexican fish ceviche is ready. Enjoy!
