Central American Chicken Soup

Ingredients

1.5 liters of boiling water

Salt

2 Corn cut in 3 pieces each

1 game Yuca into 3 to 4 inches

1 whole chicken cut into 8 pieces

½ cup green onion, chopped

½ cup chopped tomato into small squares

1 cup rice

2 carrots quartered.

1 Chayote cut in 8 pieces

El Venado Culantro seasoning to taste

2 potatoes white

1 Mexican Zucchini

1 in 8 parts Plantain

1 bunch Cilantro

Directions

1Keep the boiling water on the stovetop on medium heat, add salt to taste.

2Add the corn and yuca. Cook for 10 minutes.

3Add chicken. Simmer 10 minutes.

4Add onion, tomato and rice. Simmer 5 minutes.

5Add the carrot and chayote squash. Simmer 5 additional minutes.

6Add the culantro seasoning.

7Add the potatoes, zucchini, plantain and cilantro. Boil 10 minutes.

8Your central american chicken soup is ready. Serve with lime on the side.
